Bringing our Communities Together

Wow, wow, WOW!!

We are blown away by the response to the Children’s Week Street Art Gallery across the Wimmera Southern Mallee and want to thank EVERYONE who got involved for such an important week.

A week that is about celebrating the rights and achievements of all children, it was wonderful to see so many local businesses and communities unite in showing children that their involvement in their community matters.

This networking opportunity across our region was a valuable way to meet some of the National Quality Framework standards. The framework highlights how community partnerships that are based on active communication, consultation, and collaboration, contribute to children’s inclusion, learning and wellbeing. Children benefit from services engaging with local communities because these partnerships strengthen children’s interest and skills in being active contributors to their community. By working together, we create conversation about the significant role the broader community has in supporting children to thrive.

Little hearts certainly felt a big sense of pride when they could see their hard work on display.

These are just SOME of the gorgeous displays across the Wimmera Southern Mallee.
